Cow Hill

Cow Hill is a small, self-contained development of three substantial new-build homes, each designed as a grand five-bedroom residence with a clear emphasis on space, comfort and day-to-day practicality. Set back from the road and approached via individual gated driveways, the houses read as a cohesive collection while still allowing for individual character and tailored internal arrangements.

From the outset, the intention was to create homes that felt genuinely generous rather than simply large. Each property includes four distinct living areas, giving families a choice of formal and informal spaces – from a main open-plan kitchen, dining and living zone through to quieter lounges and snug-style rooms that can be used for reading, TV, play or work. With six bathrooms in each house, bedroom suites are properly appointed, allowing for en-suite arrangements, guest accommodation and flexible use over time as families grow and change.

A key aspect of the project was early customer involvement. Purchasers who came on board at the right stage were able to work with us to tailor how key rooms were set up and specified, so space could be aligned with how they prefer to live – whether that meant a more expansive principal suite, a dedicated media room, or a different balance between home-working and entertaining. This tailoring sat on top of a carefully developed base design, ensuring that every home retained a clear, well-resolved structure and overall flow.

Internally, the houses are finished to a consistently high standard, with considered cabinetry, well-detailed kitchens and bathrooms, and a calm palette of materials that supports, rather than competes with, the architecture. Externally, a combination of strong elevations, defined entrances and landscaped gardens gives each home presence and privacy, while still feeling part of a single, coherent development.

The result at Cow Hill is a trio of modern family homes that feel both substantial and composed – properties that offer the scale and specification expected at this level, while still reflecting the individual requirements of the customers who live in them.
