Sitting in its own grounds and approached via a private driveway, the house is conceived as a modern country residence, with a clear emphasis on space, amenity and long-term comfort rather than simply footprint.

The new building is arranged over three floors and served by a lift, so every level is easily accessed and feels connected. The ground floor sets the tone with a formal entrance and reception space, a dedicated lounge and a series of open-plan living areas that centre around the main kitchen. A secondary kitchen and supporting spaces keep the day-to-day running of the house discreet, while the three-car garage is integrated into the overall design so vehicles, storage and services all sit neatly within the envelope of the home.

Lifestyle and leisure formed a major part of the brief. A full gym and wellness suite, including steam and sauna facilities, are designed to feel like a private spa rather than an afterthought.
